Moving from a legacy e-commerce system
MWS have been recognised as the largest supplier of after market
alloy wheels for the 'Mini' and 'VW Beetle' in the UK and currently
export to 22 countries. MWS have been increasingly successful in
selling on line but with over 5000 product lines and thousands of
transactions
per month their
existing e-commerce solution was proving almost impossible to keep
up to date and inflexible in managing their products. In addition
Sage Line 50, their existing Accounts system, was also proving insufficient
for their requirements - particularly given the need for rapid Sales
Order Processing. MWS needed a Business system and E-commerce solution
that would fully integrate and be able to update stock levels in
close to real time.
Following a presentation on selecting business systems made by
Elite Business Services Ltd MWS entered into discussions on a
solution that could fully meet their needs. The recommendation was
a combination of Access Accounts Dimensions and theITbridge's Ko-Transact.
Now at the deployment stage MWS are fully confidant that the combination
will meet their needs - with sock updates and order integration
at five minute intervals their web site will never be out of date
again.
