Holy Trinity Church in Long Melford is an exceptional 15th
Century perpendicular ‘wool’ church in fine setting
of parkland and historic houses.
It has exceptional mediaeval glass and a separate Lady Chapel
The Lady chapel is a beautiful building - alomost a separate
building from the rest of the church.
Built as a shrine, it has served as the village school,
and you can still see an early 19th century times tableon
the wall of the Lady Chapel.
Holy Trinity is undoubtedly one of the grandest buildings
in the county of Suffolk.
